Install the app

You will need to install the app on your Shopify store. To install the app on your Shopify store open this link in your browser.

Sync your eShop data

After installing the app, you will reach a page where you will see the list of your eShops connected with this app. Before starting you will need to sync all your products related data to this app. Go to the account page and click on the sync button given in the row of eShop. On the sync page you will be able to sync products data on this app. To sync your data click on the Synchronise button given on the sync page. After your click then data will start syncing. On the sync page the synced numbers will keep on blinking. You will observe syncing progress through those blinking numbers. Do not refresh the page until all data gets synced successfully.

Enter into Duplicate Finder app

After completing the sync process, then click on the Duplicate Finder link given on the left side menu bar. On the landing page you will find three tools to find duplicate records.

1. Duplicate titles
2. Duplicate SKUs
3. Duplicate barcodes

You can enter into any section to find and remove duplicates. But our recommendation is that you should start from the duplicate titles section. After removing all duplicate titles then check it from duplicate SKUs or duplicate barcodes section.

How to use it for free?

Free users can use it to browse the duplicate records on the app screen itself. After completing the sync process then if you enter into any duplicate page then you will be able to see the duplicate records on app screen free of cost. After that you can go to your Shopify admin products section and can delete or update those records manually. To help free users further, we have added direct admin links of Shopify products or Shopify variants. If you click on those links then you will reach directly to that corresponding product/ variant admin page, so you can delete/ edit that product or variant.

How to activate the monthly charge to use its paid tools?

There are two ways to activate charge of this app. First way is by entering into any section given under the paid tools heading. Let us say you entered the "Tick and Delete" section of the "Duplicate SKUs" page. Now on the landing page if you click on any export button or any delete button & if you are not a paid member of this app then a popup window will open. On that popup window you will be able to see a charge approval button. Click on that "Approve" button. After that you will reach the Shopify payment approval page. From there you can activate the charge. After successful activation of charge then you will get redirected back to this app. Now you will be able to use any export or delete button of the "Duplicate Finder" app.
Second way to activate charge is from the "View Plans" page. Click on the "My Account" link from the left side menu bar. Now enter the "My Shops" section. Then click on the "Enter" button of your shop section. On the landing page you will see the "View Plans" section. Enter into that "View Plans" section. Now on the "View Plans" page you will be able to see three plans. 1) Use Free Plan 2) Use only Duplicate Finder Plan 3) Use all our monthly based apps Plan. If you activate the second plan then you will be able to use only the paid tools of the "Duplicate Finder" app. On the other hand if you activate the third plan then you will be able to use paid tools of all our Shopify monthly based apps with a discount.

Use "Delete One by One" paid tool

If you do not want to delete all your duplicate records but want to delete one by one then this is the best option for you. Under this section you will be able to click on delete buttons one by one so that you can delete records from your store one by one separately. Under this section only one product will get deleted at a time.

Use "Tick and Delete" tool

Under this section you will be able to select multiple records by ticking on checkboxes. After selecting multiple records then you can click on the delete button to delete all selected records from your Shopify store. Before deleting records you can also click on the export button to export the selected records. You can export the file to keep it as a record so that in future you can find what records were deleted on which date.

Use "Use Predefined Rules" tool

We have also created a few predefined rules for you so that you can use them directly from the app. For example you may need to remove your recently added duplicate records only, or you may want to delete older uploaded records only from your store. So in such cases you have to only select a rule suitable for your need and then have to click on the delete button from the app page. Rest of the job will be done by our app.
